Our Activities

Finego ensures quality assurance in the production process by employing different inspection methods for pipes with different production processes. There are various methods for inspecting pipe quality, with physical methods being the most commonly utilized. Physical inspection involves measuring or examining certain physical phenomena of the steel pipes, typically employing non-destructive testing to detect defects in materials and components. Ultrasonic Testing: Ultrasonic waves propagate through metal and other homogeneous media, and due to the differing reflection waves at different media interfaces, they can be used to detect internal defects. Ultrasonic testing can detect defects in any welded material and at any location, often used in conjunction with radiographic testing. X-ray Testing: X-ray testing involves using the penetration and attenuation properties of X-rays to inspect materials. This method is primarily used to detect defects such as incomplete welding, porosity, cracks, and slag inclusions. Depending on the type of radiation used, it can be categorized into X-ray, high-energy radiation, and gamma-ray testing. Online Inspection: Pipes are placed on online inspection instruments, and the quality of the steel pipes is determined by measuring the data. This method is mainly used for quality inspection of straight seam high-frequency welded pipes. These three inspection methods are the most commonly used quality inspection methods at Finego. Only pipes that pass inspection are delivered to customers, ensuring the high-quality of our products and providing assurance for safe usage.
