Al Khaznah Tannery, based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, was established in 2003 and became operational since 2006. It is one of the first and advanced leather processing plants in the middle east region. Our tannery, which has a strong international experience team, transforms local raw hides and skins into premium quality leathers for a variety of applications for national and export markets, including footwear, leather goods, interior and fashion design. Al Khaznah employs advanced environmentally friendly technologies that are both sustainable and metal-free. Unlike traditional leather tanning methods, which are made with synthetic oils to achieve the desired softness, the natural oils used in our tanning process are made from vegetable sustainable extracts.
